This is an online consultation hub for the Athenry Town Centre First Plan.
Galway County Council and their consultant team have started work on the Town Centre First Plan for Athenry. The Plan will be prepared in line with the new National Policy ‘Town Centre First – A Policy Approach for Irish Towns’ with a view to strengthening the role, image, vibrancy, vitality and resilience of Irish town centres. The Plan will be informed by views from the Town Team and the local community, which will then be translated into an ambitious action plan for the future development of Athenry. We are therefore requesting feedback via the survey tabs at the top of this page to ensure we have taken as many local people’s views into account whilst preparing the plan.
